Paul has been writing for over 10 years and is a qualified BTEC musician and technician. With influences ranging from Manic Street Preachers to Queen, White Stripes to anything that grabs his attention he has an eclectic batch of songs to his credit. From his singing solo debut at just 8 years old he took time out and only stated gigging again in 1999 when he joined White Lies, a five piece band, as their bass player. Now back to his first love guitar and now at the mic Paul dreamt up Silver Sonic and started the journey they are on today.

Kathy has been singing since she could talk and is classically trained in the vocal art. Since 3 years old her first instrument has been the piano, obtaining grade 8 in her early teens she also mastered Spanish guitar. Kathy, who is also a BTEC musician and technician, joined Paul from White lies in 2000 and started off as the lead vocalist, but she craved the sound of the bass guitar and introduced this into the Silver Sonic sound. Kathy never now hits the stage without her bass and since 2001 has shared vocal duties but hogged all the good bass lines.
